Who’d a thunk it? She has sat idle for a very long time. I originally rolled her on Gorgonnash but got sidetracked with one of my other characters there. Then some friends of mine (Bawsy and Zealas) got the game and rolled their characters on Gurubashi. I wanted to play with them so I moved my druid Anibel (44 at that time) there. I really wasn’t happy with the druid and I’m not really sure why so I moved my 60 mage Sunidaze from Gorgonnash to Gurubashi to play with Bawsy and Zealas. And Anibel sat dormant for what seems like eons. Then Bawsy and Zealas quit the game competely and went back to City of Heroes. I moved Sunidaze back to Gorgonnash and almost forgot about Anibel.
Fast forward to today. Bawzee and Jyna (formerly Bawsy and Zealas) re-subscribed to the game and for whatever reasons I can’t understand decided to start all over on Balnazzar. So, I created a new troll shaman, Anabela, to play with them. The problem is, they only play on the weekends and not even every weekend. I was enjoying my new server and my new guild but I don’t want to level Anabela when they aren’t around. So………… I moved Anibel from Gurubashi to Balnazzar. And the rest is history.
So I log into my 56 Druid, Anibel of Balnazzar and a few in the guild say “let’s run BRD!”. This is at 2:30PM server time. So I agree and we gather a five man team, 3 from the guild and 2 pickups. I tell them I can only play until 4:30 server time when my husband arrives home from work. I hearth to Shattrath and head for the portals when I get disconnected. So here I sit, stuck at authenticating.
I hope they don’t think I’m being some kind of goof… I really wanted to run BRD!
Update: I tried logging into the official forums and they are down. Maybe I’m not the only one having the problem.
Another Update: I checked the realm status page and I see Balnazzar is down. But I still can’t log in. *sigh*
Yet another update: Things seem to be rough all over according to Wow Insider…
Blah update: Login is up but Balnazzar is down. I guess I’ll give it a break until after dinner. bleh. Fie on you Blizzard.
Welp, I broke down and downloaded the PTR client last night and copied over my 70 Troll Priest, Zunzani, and my 66 Orc Shaman, Sunzapoppin.
I was interested in seeing just how the new Inscription profession was going to work out for me, and truth be told, I wanted to see if I had enough herbs saved up to get myself to at least level 225. I followed a guide I ran across somewhere and only managed to get to level 137. I was sorely lacking in the herbs needed to make Lion’s Ink so I can see I need to busy myself in Stranglethorn Vale quite a bit for the next few weeks.
I also wanted to visit the barbershop, haha. I’ve been unhappy with my troll’s hairdo since I rolled her and now I finally have a chance to change that. Unfortunately, the new hairstyles are really, really ugly but I did find one of the older ones I liked better than the one she was born with. It has been an interesting morning…
